Each year the Kent and Medway Walk to School Team supports a number of exciting sponsored activities to raise funds for a range of worthy charitable causes, as well as raising money for its own activities.
KM Charity Challenge events include sponsored abseil, zip wire, dragon boat race and water walking challenges, all of which are run by professional organisations that have public liability insurance cover. The Kent and Medway Walk to School Team accepts no liability from these events and simply supports the promotion of the activities and is a beneficiary of all or part of the proceeds depending on the particular event.
The Kent and Medway Walking Bus Group has teamed up with justgiving.com so that anyone wanting to support us can set up their very own fundraising page to raise sponsorship for our events. Alternatively if you are taking part in national events like the Flora London Marathon you can help us at the same time using this facility.
