Boost your profile by supporting the Kent Charity Challenge

Boost your profile by supporting the Kent Charity Challenge

There are a number of inexpensive ways you can raise the profile of your organisation through support of Kent Charity Challenge events:

Sponsor an abseil rope and technical team supporting the event. Typically prices cost around £650. Your support will ensure every penny raised by participants involved in the challenge will go to the nominated good causes as the costs for event are already paid for.

Sponsors will be involved in a high profile launch photocall in Kent Messenger Group newspapers to announce involvement and attract participants to sign up for the challenge.

Over the promotional run the sponsor's logo will appear each week on the in-paper booking form that is published in the relevent Kent Messenger newspaper titles. Participants must cut this form out and return it to the Kent Charity Challenge to receive their event pack. As well as the Walking Bus, Kent Messenger Group editors will select excellent local causes to receive funds from the sponsored challenge and are committed to promoting the event to ensure it is a success.

To further raise the profile of sponsors and reinforce the link with the challenge event we recommend that organisations encourage one or more of their staff to take up the challenge, thus enabling the Kent Messenger Group to publish a photograph of sponsor's staff wearing branded tops at the event as part of coverage from the day.

Sponsorship of sponsored zip wire or fire walking events operates in the same way, but with technical costs being higher as many as three or four organisations may be brought in to cover the costs of the event. It is perfectly possible to be the sole sponsor of a challenge event. Contact Simon Dolby for details by e-mailing simon@kentwalkingbus.org

Team building with the Kent Charity Challenge

Team building with the Kent Charity Challenge

Why not use a challenge event as the basis of a team building exercise for your firm. Staff can be involved in teams each tasked with the jobs such as: promotion of challenge within the business or community; themed outfits for the event; trophy for the team or individual that raises the most for charity.

The Walking Bus Project would be delighted to stage a challenge event exclusively for an organisation with staff taking part for free and the firm paying the costs of the day, together with a donation to the Walking Bus charity.
