Get fit and healthy with Walk the Wall

Walk The WallLearn about the history of a world famous landmark on your virtual walk along Hadrian's Wall.

Organised by the children's road safety charity Kent & Medway Walking Bus, Kent Messenger media group and supported by AXA PPP healthcare, Walk the Wall helps you to get fitter by challenging you to do more walking as part of your daily routine.

The scheme works with children typing in pedometer clicks onto a special page. This moves you along Hadrian's Wall where you discover fascinating fun information about the international historical landmark.

To use Walk the Wall you need a password. Initially only children at St Andrew's School, Medway and St Augustine's School, Tunbridge Wells will be involved in the pilot of this scheme, but in time we aim to launch  Walk the Wall to children using Walking Bus, Walk on Wednesday and Walking Bug initiatives in Kent and Medway.
